Main activities:
The consultancy tasks are to collect data and write a concise report on:
- Industry trends that are likely to shape the market (dynamics) of primary health care, laboratory and imaging services in Vietnam and the role of private (profit and not-for-profit) providers in it;
- The structure and economic importance of the markets for private and public primary health care, laboratory and imaging services in Vietnam;
- The national regulatory environment on the provision of (private) primary care and diagnostic services;
- Ways/methods of how private primary care, laboratory, and imaging services are being delivered in the country today and how these are expected to change in the country in the future;
- Expected changes in government policies and/or regulations that will impact positively or negatively on the development of the private sector in the three markets;
- Identification of markets that are most likely to see: a. a growing role for private primary care, laboratory and imaging services, and b. the emergence of scalable business models in the provision of these services.
